Why is it important?
It is easier to speak and act like others, want to fit in and play it safe. A true hero has the courage to be themselves, challenge the status quo (do what is right and not what is easy) and is selfless in paying it forward. These heroes break stereotypes, change the world with new paradigms and make their community a better place for the next generation.
Enchant Your Senses would like to honour these heroes who are a beacon of hope and inspiration. Every month, we will deliver a free Shining Star Pillow to three (3) selected heroes within Canada.
What do I need to do?
Complete the following two (2) activities:

Send an email containing the following information to inquire@enchantyoursenses.com; and​

In the subject line, type “Legion of Heroes Nomination"

​In the body of the email provide the following information:
-
Your full name (nominator);
-
The full name of the nominee (your hero);
-
Up to fifty (50) words on why you believe that this individual is a hero to you and how this individual made a significant difference in your life; and
-
-
Attach a picture of your hero.

Support your nomination and the other nominees by “liking” their postings in the Enchant Your Senses social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).
How will the three (3) selected Heroes be announced every month?

Three (3) heroes will be selected by an Enchant Your Senses panel a week after the end of the month. Thereafter, the three (3) selected heroes will be announced on the Enchant Your Senses website and social media platforms.

"My father grew up in the Philippines with three older sisters and two brothers. When his siblings immigrated to the US he chose to immigrate to Canada in the 1970s with his young family. My father worked many different jobs to support us while re-qualifying to become recognized as a Professional Engineer in Canada. I always remember my father working, first at his job and then fixing stuff around the house. Even today, my father keeps busy with his many interests in the Philippines and helps to provide a better life for the local people. My father has taught me the importance of hard work and believing in myself. Thank you Dad!!!"
